You are most certainly very welcome indeed. :)

Spent a lot of yesterday watching this on Twitch and was quite impressed by it! Seems like it could be a good laugh with a few mates! The only thing that concerns me is the longevity of the game - sure you get a few different monsters, but with such a short "round time" as it were, coupled with such few players, I would imagine it would get boring after a few days?

Hope I'm wrong though!

I know the games unfinished and all the content isn't currently available, but i must admit i loved my first two days of playing it, while the third i felt bored like i'd done it all already.

I feel from my experience like i'd pay £10 for it to be on my steam library so i can play it when i fancy, but by its current content i'd certainly never want to pay more than that....hoping for more.

Played about 3 hours before I got a bit bored of playing the same limited maps.

Enjoyed it, if it ships with plenty of maps then I might be tempted to pick it up.
Although I had to run it on Medium Settings to get a stable enough frame rate to play.

I'm not sure more maps can save it for some of us.
In L4D It was alright because it was sort of a linear progression through all sorts of terrains but to fit in a monster there has to be primarily large open areas that ultimately all look the same.

After about 10 games the average length was about 5 minutes, quickest being 3 but that was no doubt a newbie monster, but we were newbie hunters too! :P

Would've been nice to include an earlier stage of the monster evolve stage, sort of a human sized stealth hunter that needs to escape an indoor section of the map but once it escapes can find something quick to feed and evolve to. It would make it a lot more tense being inside playing CQB with vents and dimly lit areas etc to a whole different game outside, a bit like AVP with humans vs predators.

However there's nothing scary about the monster, I was under the impression that the monster was going to be the one stalking and harassing the hunters but it's the complete reverse, the monster at least at stage 1&2 pretty much always legs it away from hunters because...well....because :P

It's short and fun in very small doses, but not a £35.00 dose.

I played 4 or 5 games before I completely lost interest. It reminded me of TitanFall for some reason, very shallow game and I quickly got bored of that too during its beta.

The best matches I've played so far have been anything above the 9 minute point. It's enough time to have a fully evolved Goliath and to have had your whole team wiped out only to be saved by Daisy sniffing a path miles away from the action. Haha!

A really good tactic has been for you to pay attention to the team mates and as soon as two are down BOOK IT!!! It's hard to tell when they go down if you're in mid action but if they're killed then the skull appears on your quartile circle HUD so run as soon as you see that... unless the reactor is at risk of being destroyed.

When you've had a few drop in moments like that it's great chasing the Goliath whle he's hurt and on the move. I love throwing up an arena just as he's almost out of range and he has to turn around to begin the epic battle. The Kraken seems really overpowered but I've only encountered him when playing with level 10 hunters and he's a level 17 unlock.

I don't think many realise that the key to defeating the Kraken is for the medic to tranqualize him to keep him grounded. Otherwise his air attacks are so powerful. I absolutely love how every class of hunter has some serious attributes to each be effective, the assault seems a little crippled but he's good for distraction if he uses a shield.

Has anyone found a working method to playing with friends?

I've not had much luck at all using the built in system (inviting friends into a little lobby then hitting find match). The option to join other lobbies would help but I think they've intentionally tried to avoid lobby skipping, in fact, you aren't allowed to move into another game for 60 seconds if you leave during load up! In L4D it would be frustrating waiting in lobby while people dip in and out for the perfect layout so hopefully this will be a successful fix.

The best method we've found is for each friend to join a different game and at the end of a match if someone leaves your match then send an invite. I'm stunned how fast a friend can join a game after clicking invite like that. Once you're in together it works beautifully.

I have no interest in pre-purchasing if that's not fixed.

So has this kind of died already?

Been seeing it quite a lot and actually watched some videos, looks awesome, but I guess the main concerns are that it's too limited in terms of monsters and maps?

Not sure how interested people are in this? I was really looking forward to it, but the pre-order exclusive content thing has put me off a little. I just hate that business model. Anyway, the official system requirements have been released;

AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 6400
SYSTEM RAM: 4GB

I loved the beta and have pre-ordered from GMG with a discount code. This has been the only game which has pulled me away from WoT :D

for info: I think there is an open beta this weekend for the xbone with the PC to follow soon
