Redwood on BBC breakfast arguing that this result shows public want hard Brexit. That man would argue black was white.

DUP had no credible mandate in a coalition for a predominantly England based government.

No chance the British public notably Scottish and Irish will accept a DUP coalition either.

I cant see what may is trying to do, seems like she will try to stay and form a minority government. But they wont work with others. So back to the ballot box soon, but then May would get wiped if she stayed. It makes no sense. If we return to ballot then Tories need to show change and sooner the better.
But then again she always was a crazy power grabber and this just adds another tick to that box. Still if that happen it'll damage the Tories even more.

Looks like Conservatives have enough with DUP. This election has backfired on them and May should probably step down as a result. Maybe with a new election. I doubt the next leader will attack their core voters.

Earlier in the night they were saying how the EU27 have all their ducks in a row already, they have their chief negotiator chosen, he has his full team in place, they have lots of detailed plans and have dotted the i's and crossed the t's and are all ready
Well done, that was almost verbatim from what I heard on LBC.

Shame on Scotland is all I can say. Going back to Tory in so many areas, after so many years. Though it wasnt hard for Ruth Davidson to pander to the anti-indyref masses. Sturgeon set them up for her, all she had to do was knock em down yet didn't quite get a spare.

Amid the bigger news can anyone from Surrey explain this? Ensuring he has a mandate for a continued utter lack of integrity?

I think May is just playing caretaker manager at this point. She knows how the Tories operate. They don't tolerate lame duck leaders. She'll shepperd in a new leader. Unless she really is as deluded and out of touch as she appears to be.
