First time I've been undecided about voting, was tempted to spoil my ballot since they're almost all as bad as each other, but figured it was better to at least make an effort for the lesser of 2 evils, so ended up voting tactically. Feel a bit dirty for not voting for who I actually wanted however :/

That's how you end up on government watchlists, and if Theresa gets her majority there'll be a good few to include you on comrade.

I don't do queues so I'll saunter to the station about 9 tonight, voting labour even though it won't make a jot of difference where I am, would be nice to erode the Tory vote a bit this year though. Oddly I was looking at the 2015 stats and if the labour and libs hate the Tories enough they could combine their votes and just about take it.

Haven't voted yet, but I think despite all of Labour's bluster and big crowds in safe Labour seats, they'll fall well short.

The Monster Raving Loony party goes under the name of SNP up here in Scotland, not quite as colourful as the English variant but made up by being twice as mad.

Postal voted last week, I work across from a polling station and been here since 8am, the numbers going in haven't been great so far.

Bad weather. Todays weather is worth about 3 points to the Tories so they will walk it now with a bigger majority than last time.

For the second time in my life I will not be voting for any of these imbeciles.

We talk often of a "bad bunch" but what are the pushed options (ConLabDems) actually offering.

Cons: More of the same
Lab: Worse
Libs: A chance for the butt hurt to try again at Remain

Since the Trump Presidency the media is still going ape, the political class is just tanking... What the hell is happening?

I also remember the London Mayor thread and me saying Khan was the worst choice. Just goes to show how stupid people are voting for him

I'm probably already on a few, I work in software development; given Theresa May's apparent understanding of technology, that's basically a synonym for "terrorist" :p

Polling station was deserted when I went in

I don't consider voting against who you don't want to be tactical. Unless you vote for someone else you really don't want that is.

I think it's time they brought in online voting, I think the number of young voters would increase dramatically if they could do it from their phone or laptop.

It's 2017 come on and sort it out.

I walked in and voted this morning, Labour for me.

Breaking news.

Theresa May has waited until election day to unveil perhaps her most significant U-turn yet, after announcing outside her local polling station that she has voted labour.

In an unusual change of stance, the Prime Minister has reassured those intending to vote Conservative, that just because she happens to have sided with the main opposition party, doesn’t make her any less of a credible leader.

“It’s not the sort of tactical move we normally see in the political sphere,” said political analyst Simon Williams.

“As a general rule of thumb, most if not all party leaders running in the general elections throughout history have tended to vote for themselves.

“But I suppose when she’s already performed a one-eighty on remaining in the EU, promising to freeze energy prices, the dementia tax and saying she wouldn’t call a general election, then a complete reversal on her deeply held political ideologies isn’t a total shock to the system.”

A Conservative spokesman defended Theresa May’s decision, explaining that it was just the kind of strong and stable U-turn the Prime Minister has been continuously executing throughout her limited time as Prime Minister.

“Particularly on election day, it would have been grossly inconsistent for the Prime Minister to do a U-turn on performing last minute U-turns, and no doubt the British people will see through Jeremy Corbyn’s selfish decision to vote for the same party he’s actually leading.”
