I thought it was "required" to negotiate without pandering to the whims of the likes of David Davis. So maybe a "hard Brexit" is now more likely. I don't know, I'm confused about this whole situation now. :(
Well something like 85% of voters in this election voted for a party that supported leaving the single-market (mostly Conservatives and Labour), so the argument that Leave voters in the referendum didn't vote for a hard Brexit is now null and void :D

both the far left and right behave the same. That’s why it would be a bad idea to let ether in power.

There we are - straight from the mouth of a Corbyn supporter; promises don't count if the context they were made under has changed.

Of course they don't, that is plainly the correct and logical outcome. If things change you revise your views.

However, how do you reconcile your views with Mays in that she was quite clear the election was to give her the mandate needed to deliver her view of brexit, clearly she hasn't been give this returning less MPs, so should she stop now?

Well err yes, why wouldn't they change if the situation changed. Only an idiot would cling to an ideology in the face of a changing landscape.

So on that note Teresa, don't you think its time you gave it up?

No, it's not, because people were voting for who they want to run the country, not how they want Brexit to go. The general election was not just about Brexit, no matter how much it suits you this particular minute to argue that it was.

Leaving the single market does not make it a defacto hard brexit.
Also I voted for Labour, just because i did doesn't mean I support that stance. It was a general election not a binary poll
Surely even you can manage to get your head round that one?

The pundits looked from Far Left to Far Right, and from Far Right to Far Left, and from Far Left to Far Right again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

57.6% voted against Teresa May, surely she must go?

Because he doesn't actually believe what he types. If he did he would question himself more thoroughly. He's just a mildly entertaining benign troll.

I'm starting to think he does, he just knows when to stop and rarely if ever replies to posts in an aggressive or insulting manner.

Genuinely can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not (given your post history, you're probably not). The well-known saying is; people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Sarcasm overload I'm afraid. I'm well aware, but thanks :p

Though I am interested: what exactly in my post history suggests to you I was being serious?

I agree. Unfortunately there appears to be a complete lack of any coherent, vocal centrist outlook in the political landscape.
