This will be the elderly who have financed it for many many years so students and others who have contributed nothing get free health care.

Its a wheel John40, those very pensioners were once of an age where they had paid nothing either. That is not the point being made, its that the grey vote predominantly voted to cut of a vital supply to the NHS at a time when they will be seemingly needing it themselves the most.

Irrelevant, wishing older people dead asap is not particularly nice unless of course you belong to the present "entitled" young.

He wasn't wishing anyone dead. Merely stating that fact that now we have a diminished nhs with less staff there will probably be less looked after elderly..... It its ironic that people saying the younger dont get it.... Because the Elderly who are apparently more clever voted for this.

Add to the irony that your calling the young entitled but the elderly drawing up the drawbridge of free education when they had it and likely got good jobs from because of it ... And then you call that irrelevant.

Just to point out I wish ill on no one including the elderly.... But I'm only being realistic in agreeing that it will now be worse for them

Quite like the BBC report that says they have to wait for the goat skin parchment paper to dry - One assumes that the speech is a little longer than usual? :)

They will be chaotically chopping great swathes of their manifesto to avoid any sniff of controversy. They probably also need to pander to the demands of the DUP and who knows what they are.

Absolute utter rubbish, have you seen the unemployment figures ? lowest unemployment for over 10 years and no everybody isn't in a zero hours job that's a massive myth.

Unemployment figures are skewed with low paid apprenticeships and zero hour contracts.
You end up with 4 people doing one persons job.

Shoot the messenger time then.

No one requested you be the messenger. You took it upon yourself to give the employment figure spiel.

Also, on JSA etc they skew the figures by putting those on courses and work schemes off the unemployment figures.
I did a work scheme at a job centre and that's how I found that out.
