Well the Welsh have chimed in:

Today’s deal represents a straight bung to keep a weak prime minister and a faltering government in office. Only last week we were told that the priority was to ‘build a more united country, strengthening the social, economic and cultural bonds between England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.’ This deal flies in the face of that commitment and further weakens the UK, and as currently drafted all but kills the idea of fair funding for the nations and regions. It is outrageous that the prime minister believes she can secure her own political future by throwing money at Northern Ireland whilst completely ignoring the rest of the UK. I have spoken to the secretary of state for Wales this morning to clearly state my view at this unacceptable deal – as Wales’ voice at the cabinet table, he has a duty to fight against this deal and secure additional funding for our country.

1bn for 10 votes?!
I'm wondering if anyone that voted Tory still believe she will be a 'very difficult woman' with the EU. I imagine it will be something like:

EU: gimmie 100bn
May: ok

Well was the DUP who said they were surprised at how poor the Tory negotiation team was at negotiating. If the DUP think we are easy, then the EU team will eat us for breakfast.

EU: gimmie 100bn
May: ok Let me be clear. What we need is a strong and stable government and by ensuring the strength of our economy we can continue to be close and prosperous allies with strong bonds and stable futures.

Fixed that for you. As if she'd give a clear and concise answer.

In fact, I think it's the reason this DUP deal took so long. I bet they laid this out at the very beginning and the last two weeks have been her waffling on and on.

on the mainland maybe,.

but i think thids will be a step back for the brothers and sisters in northern Ireland.

Aye, I suppose it could put that on the back burner. I suppose it depends on how much the rest of parliament consider it an important issue to extend to NI and what impact that would have on this deal.

But your right though, it wont be in any published document but you can bet your life its part of the agreement.

thats what makes me sick.

my vote meant nothing i ma safe labour seat but still i feel it a symbolic approval of the cureent government.

whats rhi?
Renewable heat incentive. It was a scheme that was designed to get people using these organic matter burners to generate heat instead of relying on natural gas. I think it was woodchips they were going to burn or something. The scheme was set up so that you got paid a subsidy to use one of these burner things, like you got paid a certain amount depending on how much energy you generated with one or something. The legislation was so badly drawn that there were huge holes in it and no cap on how much you could be paid in subsidies. There were cases of farmers burning stuff non-stop to heat an empty barn because they were being paid more in subsidies than it cost them to fuel the burner.

It's set to cost about £500million and has basically led to the collapse of the Northern Irish assembly.

I'm just hoping those with disagree with a bribe to a faction of religious extremists & climate change deniers remember this for the next election.

Opinion polls are interesting, the government approval has been steadily declining since the election & the news today will likely result in another nose-dive. I wonder who's currently sharpening a dagger for the back of May. I don't like the Conservatives but I don't want them to get steamrolled for the next 20 years, a strong opposition is good for both sides of the debate.

I hope everyone who voted for the conservatives is happy now. A billion quid from the magic money tree for the LGBT hating lunatic DUP just to keep this appalling woman in power.

Of course they wont, they wont remember it next week, let alone at the next election.

And even if Labour bring it up at the next GE, it will get shouted down and buried.
