I have no irrational views on equal rights.
What exactly are you trying to get me to say?
Something that will start an argument. All your opinions are straight out of the DM comments.

Now all we need is a push for equal marriage in NI....

Heidi Allen Conservative MP has just condemned her own party in the House of Commons, for its DUP deal

All four men came to the UK from Hungary to work and all four had previous convictions, including Kalanyos for rape and murder, the court heard.
Gonna have to agree with the comments.
On another note, when exactly are we going to do proper background checks on people who come here to work like they do in America? Just seen this:

And people here complain that the DUP aren't very nice.
Well done to Ms. Creasy. Government can weasel out of it too easily otherwise.Stella Creasy has refused to remove her amendment vote despite Justine Greenings letter to MP's. This one will be interesting.

Brexit amendment defeated - anything else?
There will be plenty once parliament starts proper. Today has shown how fragile it all is and I would fully expect some very uncomfortable votes coming.
To be fair, the opposition amendment to the Queen' speech was only voted down by 323 votes to 297 - a majority of 26.Yes very uncomfortable lol
"A cross-party amendment led by the Labour former business secretary Chuka Umunna calling for the Government to set out proposals for the UK to remain within the customs union and single market was defeated by 322 votes to 101, a majority of 221."
Sheathed because for now none of them want to upset the cart before the Queens speech vote and sheathed for amendments only because they know the perceived impact of losing a vote. Just look at today's announcement from Justine Greening regarding NHS access to abortion services for NI women in the UK. It was known that 40+ Tory MP's would vote against their own party, they knew they would lose that so backed down.
