eXtreme Air Cooling - Build Log + Overclocking

well setup my new media / file server over the weekend.. ran some intel burn tests at 4ghz so should have a prime run at some point but is getting 8 hours where no one needs to hear in the house :)

will get there guys :)

I have been off the scene for a while, but I remembered this being kicked around. Pneumonic you are totally dedicated, and you have made me giggle like a girl with your videos !!!

this is the old setup doing 4ghz+ 8 hour prime stable on air (although @ low ambient)

that was on the Lapped TRUE and Q6600.. with a ducting setup with 3 120mm delta's... ambient was cold :) didnt take a reading at the time... but I get similar temps on the new setup to the above @ 21c so just got to get the time together to run a prime, g/f is at her parents saturday.. so fingers crossed with no issues will do it then
 
ok, havn't been here for a while, work GF and all...
I finally found someone more nuts about air cooling than i was...
Alas, I gone to dark side now with water cooling... but thats still air cooled :D and tonight, cold night, stuck the 120mm rad and fan out my window and I get sub ambient CPU temps... lol
