F1 2009 Season discussion/development thread

“He has a little bit of a graze on his left forearm, but he has had full scans and everything else is clear,” continued Donohue. “He'll be in hospital for at least three days, FOR SURE under a week. I was speaking to him before the operation, and he was already thinking about his rehabilitation.”

This injury is something he really didnt need. I'm a cyclist and the last thing any sportsperson would want is to get injured while not competing in their chosen sport.

He isnt my favourite driver, but I wouldnt wish this to happen to any F1 driver or sportsman, especially when during the off-season, he wouldve been taking it easy for a few weeks before embarking on a major fitness program - something required of all F1 drivers these days.

He especially didnt need this to happen right now, as I believe 2009 will be a very very tough year for him, where he will be compared directly to (and probably outperformed by) Sebatian Vettel. He needed to be in top form going into 2009 and I think this injury will hinder him.

Anyway, get well soon Mark.

I like Ted Kravitz. I always thought he had good insight into the pitlane activities.

Can anyone shed any light as to what DC and Eddie Jordan will actually be doing? They're listed as pundits, which I assume is a similar role to Blundells?

That Lee McKenzie is a dangerous google images search!

Looks like a good lineup, hope it works :)

Pity she's a bloomin' useless presenter. She gets nervous and makes mistakes presenting the bowls on BBC (don't ask!), what on earth is she going to be like interviewing F1 drivers?!

Glad Ted is being kept on. Really didn't mind the guy, and he at least had the whatnots to ask questions others wouldn't.
