I've not really kept up to speed with the off-season F1 stuff but I have to admit I'm massively excited at the prospect of the Honda BGP cars being front-runners. It's always good to have a cabinet re-shuffle and upset the status quo - I remember nearly wetting myself when Leyton House suddenly found mid-season form in 1990, it's just a shame they never made anything of it.
I'll not be convinced until the first race though. All too often we hear pre-season reports of cars being dramatically on or off the pace and all too often it turns out to be a false alarm and come the start of the season the usual suspects are at the front, or have sorted their acts out by the third round.
As for the new scoring system - I don't know if it will work for the better but I can see what they are trying to achieve with it.
Roll on Race 1, genuinely looking forward to a new season for the first time in *years*
