F1 2009 Season discussion/development thread

Our livery looks great, it really stands out on track as far as I'm concerned.

if eat a few dozens curries and stood in the middle of the track producing a pool of vomit iam sure i would stand out too, doesn't mean anyone would want to see it.

hopefully the tv crews do the right thing and just avoid the car as much as possible.

Hey, has anyone else noticed the appendages on the front wheels of the Maclaren in the testing pics on the formula 1 website?

Does it look like some sort of extra downforce/aero setup to anyone else?

They ran them last year as well - generally contain tyre temperature sensors.

Look at all these people without any taste... :p

Anyway, it doesn't matter what the car looks like. Let's just wait until Q2 at Melbourne...

1) We have taste. Obviously so do you as you've got the 08 car in your sig. ;) *actually... looks like it's the 07 car...*

2) Standing out isn't a great thing when you have Piquet in the second seat. ;)

3) Not confident of getting into Q3 then? :p

I think the Renault livery is rather in your face, which is not really a good thing, but the car itself looks quite good!

I guess the McLaren so far seems to be the smoothest of lines, lets see if that translates into results.

the new renault f1 overalls have come through-

Renault colours look awful! Williams looks good and at a guess won't change that much in terms of colour when the season starts?

Updated OP with pics so you can see the difference a bit between them a glance :)

I was wondering why Total and Elf would appear on the same paintjob, until I remembered that Total and Elf (and Fina, come to think of it) are the same company :o

The more I look at that Renault, the more I like it (aside from the colour scheme which looks a little close to the '97 Mastercard Lola for my liking). Still think the Ferrari looks best out of them so far :)
