Codemasters said if you can run F1 2010 perfectly, your system will run F1 2011 as well. Somebody on here was running it fine with an AMD x4 and AMD HD 5770 1GB.
Not on the 360 it isn't.
Just tried it again, fully updated and yup .. I'm still locked into the pits until everyone passes.
Regarding the screenshot comparison, whats up with the dynamic range on the PS3 version? sky blown out, really, insanely, deep shadows.
Slightly higher detail on the PS3 though.

just tried 2 races here and the pitstops were fine no problems
i take it you mean on the track?, as if its the cars in the pits thats called safe pit release and is the same in real F1 you have to wait if a car or cars are coming down pit road
near your pit box you have to wait..

Played this at Gamefest and loved it.
So I decided to splash out on these.
I have always wanted one of these for years and years. So happy I have them coming. Hopefully should be here Wednesday.
You should get the clubsport pedals too, which track did you drive?
I looked at the clubsport pedals but just couldnt justify them for the price. I will be keeping an eye on their pedals, hopefully they will come down in price when Fanatec release their new wheels next month.

How much did that lot set you back mate? I've got a wheelstand pro for my DF:GT and it makes it that much more immersive. I have looked at these seats etc before but can't justify the price! £200 for some pedals is way too much, although I would like to think that would be the last wheel and pedal set that you would buy.

Been interested in the Gameracer elite seat for sometime just don't know if i could justify spending the money
Yeah will do matey. In fact the Gameracer arrived at work today. Just sat here looking at the box, cant wait to get it home and setup. The problem is though, my wheel is still in Germany

Only game recently I've played a lot of is F1 2010, but I can't justify paying in excess of £300 for a proper seat/pedals and a wheel.
Really looking forward to F1 2011, might have to buy XBL gold again for this as I want to race the kids online although I hear its like dodgems for some people >.<
