F1 2011 Online league?

I think maybe. No ABS, TCS at atleast medium. Gears are optional. and I think %30 race would be good.

For what it's worth, here are my votes -

Race distance - 50%
Braking assist, ABS, TC, racing line all banned. Auto gearing allowed. Pit limiter and pit box control I don't care either way.

For those that think I want those things banned because I'm on a wheel, nope. 360 pad here.

edit: HBK, aren't braking assists like a disadvantage anyways?

May use slight traction control, depends, chicanes felt very unforgiving in f1 2010.

Balls I use auto gears on Forza with a pad and I love it.

Manual speeds up times so it's a disadvantage if you don't use manual

I'm guessing they get banned or everyone has to show themselves doing a clean race to be eligible to enter?

Im hoping people here will have enough respect not to do silly stuff like that, ive raced in other leagues and people have been good.

other rules like one move to defend and leaving enough room to overtake (like in real F1) should be stuck too.

Repeated rammers and crashes will be kicked out

I think this year the host will have the option to restart the race online. That's one option. Yes, I know this will inevitably penalise those who get good starts and make up tons of positions. I'd only advocate a restart if we're talking about over half the field trashed in T1.

As far as gears go, it depends what pad you are using. With a 360 pad auto gears is cutting it pretty fine considering 2 more buttons are taken up this year with KERS and DRS. That leaves little or no room for another 2 taking care of shifting up and down.

were looking at possible 3 weeks after UK release to start the first race, Still need more racers.

there will be a driver league and als a constructor championship

By leaving enough room to overtake what exactly do you mean? If they are lapping you?

No such as if a car is side by side don't push them into the gravel or wall.

If you are being lapped then you'll be blue flagged but if you are racing against someone but your tyres are shot, don't pretend to let them past and then cut them off. You make a manouvre you stick to it.

IE Schui vs Hammy last weekend.
