He's talking about giving your rival plenty of room, especially in braking zones and definately if the car behind gets level with you. At that point, as IRL, you cannot move over and squeeze your rival. Just fair driving basically. If you're level with me and you have the inside line, the corner is yours.

General etiquette in F1 is to leave at least a car widths size between your car and the edge of the track. In other words if you are defending then you
shouldn't hog the outside/inside of the track to stop an overtake
and backmarkers if there is any lapping should get out of the way
So we can't do what Alonso kid of did to Vettel last week with the whole thing that Vettel wasn't given enough room and was on the grass but still managed to get past. Or is it more of the Schumie 2 moves one but he only got let off because he's Schumie and Schumie is aweome

Also you can only make this manouvre in the assumption it won't cause contact yes? (i.e. they have a better drive off from the corner than you and coming at pace and may not have time to react to a manouvre?)
yes count me in,but that 3 strike will only work if the game works,not like 2010 when someone spun right infront of you,you go up the back of him and you get the penalty

Yeah i'm sure everyone will have iffy moments here and there.
We going to wait a few weeks to start this? Some maybe 10% races to get people used to the general racing etiquette say during any weeknight if 4 or more are available might be of use.
What Alonso did to Vettel was probably over the line. He realised it once Vettel touched the grass and then stopped squeezing and gave room for Vettel to come back on. After the race Vettel actually went to the stewards to ask if they intended to punish Alonso. Rightly so TBH, it was out of line.

I know it probly won't turn up day one but quite a saving over steam.
Was 2010 ever fixed? remember reading about how the AI weren't actually racing etc etc etc. Quite tempted by this and mp gaming is always muchos fun.
