Well now that the concept has been thought of, surely some teams out there might investigate whether or not this would be feasible to develop.

Sauber and Williams have also used a blown rear wing but their intake has been a small slot in the leading edge of the upper wing section. McLaren have taken it atleast a stage further with an intake in the cars actual bodywork, and may be running a 'switch' to turn the flow on and off.

Hey, Trulli happens to be one of the fastest qualifiers in the business.

Yeah he definitely knows how to get a car around the track in sensational time, but then he slows down to the actual pace that the car is capable of :D

Rosberg showing some pace from Merc which is a welcome relief for Schui fans :)

wont know real pace until the first qualifying session though.

even if a car can do a lightning fast lap with no fuel and super soft tyres it doesnt mean they will be fast over a race so im taking all testing times with a pinch of salt.

even the teams that will probably be nowhere come race day have managed fast times so far

Yeah can't wait, I'd love the sauber to actually have the form they are showing in testing continue over to racing. I've always like Peter Sauber and it would be great to see them win a race or two.

Almost as great as seeing williams win a race or two again :(

No one really stands out head and shoulders above everyone else, hopefully thats a good indicator for a good season. It would be nice to see three or four teams mixing it instead of one or two.

Vettel is having an extra half days testing then the car goes to webber.
Read into that what you will..

RB doesnt have a #1 driver ;)

schumi just did a 1:20.920 :D tracks not as fast as yesterday aparently aswell

now massa is fastest, theyve been trading 1-2 tenths for awhile now maybe the mercedes isnt as slow as people thought or the ferrari isnt as fast as it seemed

Lets hope all the teams get their glory runs in today, so that we get a good idea of the ultimate pace of the cars.

If Hamilton doesnt top today's time sheets (weather permitting), I will be very worried. F1 NEEDS to have its best drivers in cars capable of winning races/WDCs.

Yep. And the Ferrari just went quicker :p

The good thing is that the track is finally getting some Sun, so the times posted are decent, unlike the tests that have been conducted in variable weather conditions or in heavy rain.

There is still the rest of the afternoon. At this point I would definitely say that RedBull, Ferrari and McLaren are looking like the teams to beat. Lets just wait and see what happens this afternoon.
