Fallout: New Vegas

just completed it after 50hr of playtime discovering every location and doing as much as possible.

How've you managed to get all of them? I tried to get Boone to come with me and Veronica but he wasn't having any of it, so I presumed you could only have one human companion.

Also - does anyone know the best place to play caravan? I.e. the person with the most money I can wager against?
 
Thanks for the info Neil, I bought the C-finder off a boy but chose the 'wrong' option for it to work earlier in the game. I will have to give the console command a go at some time just to see it in action!
 
I decided to reload an earlier save after entering the strip, things started moving too fast :D Add to that the fact that nobody in there played caravan :(

Currently doing the bounty missions for the NCR, one of the best fights I've had so far working upto Vault 3, decimating all that lay in front of me :p Only just realised how good the Cowboy Repeater is too, though it may be down to their lack of armour/helmets.

Sneak critical sniper shots ***.

Still looking for caravan players - someone said they had 300k earlier in the thread, where'd you go to play??
 
Mostly got all the caps off the dino shop guy and the bartender at the Mojave Outpost.

I sold loads of stuff to the dino guy before so I won it all back :D 'only' got 74k.
 
I can only think of 4 caravan players atm.

The wierd guy in novac - can rinse about 1400 off him
Mr Nash in Primm - he tends to have around 2k and is a vendor, so buy it all up and win caps back
Guy in novac dino store - has about 4K, great for buying his inventory of C4 then winning the cah back can really stock up on c4 here
Woman in mojave outpost - has around 7k caps but not as good stuff to buy.

I have noticed every few days they will have a brand new invesntory and there caps back.

There are more caravan players but i aint found them or they are crap like the one in last hope.

I've stopped now was wasting too much time doing it, still i got about 110K, aint been to the strip yet.
 
12K caps - that'll do for now, just means I can buy stuff as I go along instead of having to barter everything :p

Does anyone know when you get Power Armour training? Is it after the mission where you collect the holotapes for the BoS? And does Power Armour associate you with the BoS, and mean NCR turn on you?

I spent about 20 mins getting to Jacobstown thinking there was someone playing caravan there :(
 
Do you even need training any more?

I remember picking up some power armour late in the game (after the point of no return) and I could wear it without any training :)
 
Just found vault 19 and Vault 3 , vaults are great!. Would be awesome to find one where people are still inside living life , but that think the outside is still radiated.

SPOILERS



You get it during the companion side quest for the doctor. Can't remember his name. The quest involves getting the Enclave Remnants to help you.

Once you do the mission with the holotapes (still in the dark) you get another mission called Eyesight to the blind, the reward for that is power armour training. The power armour that is labled 'brotherhood' will disguise you as a member of the BoS, if you find some power armour without the brotherhood name (which is a bit more rare, but can be repaired using the brotherhood version of the armour) then you can wear that without any issues.
