I think I only got 2 African players in there in Essien & Yobo. Anton Ferdiand was pretty cheap at £4.5 and Tobias Hysen is a world beater on Fm2007 for Sunderland

Also as far as i know, you don't get points for players on the bench so surely your better buying £4m players fro the bench and getting some decent players in your side.

And Gilberto? He's not likely to get many points, go for somebody from a lesser side thats likely to score some goals.

Thats just my opinion of course, but we all know its the best opinion :) ;)
 
Hmm may need to look at MIB Utd again. Forogot about Martins. Plus Gilberto wont start the 1st few games as hes on Copa America duty although he was one of the top scoring midfielders in his price range. Im tempted by some of the guys from Reading but are they one season wonders ? they lost their clunker in Sidwell and that will put more pressure on the other players. Same goes for Reo-Coker. Good price and has gone to a better team but looks like a gamble if you ask me. Another big time Charlie
 
Also Carrick and Parker? 3 midfielders (with Gilberto, before somebody says thats 2 :rolleyes: ) that aren't going to score many. Sell those 3 and put £4m players on the bench and get a couple of top midfielders and a cheap one if needed.

He's quite injury prone these days though, and I've still left it so I can still have a third Man Utd player, who will very likely be Tevez or Vidic. I want to see what else happens before the 1st August.

Aye might do that, Pederson has been in my team a few times, but I keep changing players. :) Just can't settle.
 
Look at who takes the corners/penalties/free kicks for teams. They always nail assist and goal points. Arteta was a good player to have last season, bit pricey now though (was only about 6m last season to begin with iirc).

And I wouldn't worry about the ACN. Just bench Drogba and transfer any others you have. Remember you get one free transfer every week.
 
Linoge or Ripper: If the Tevez deal does go through, is it likely that he will start reguarly? Not sure whether to keep Berbatov go for Tevez and spend my extra £1m somewhere else.
 
I reckon it'll almost be a certainty for him to be in the first team up front with Rooney on a regular basis. Saha will most likely not be fit for the start of the season, Rossi is likely to be going permanently to Serie A, Solskjaer is not a first team player and Smith looks to be leaving us this summer too. I'm just wondering if his price will go up when he joins us and whether I should select him now in case it does.

think we should have a topic there for everyone to give their ocuk names (just so we know who's who) - even though i dont know anyone :D

i'll leave it up to the league creator to authorise it :)
