Just get somewhere high (i think all but one have a hill overlooking the base) and then use a silenced sniper rifle to highlight the men, shoot the alarms and take everyone out.

I think I did 3 of the 4 fortresses like this without being seen or raising alarms, and all but the last 3/4 bases because I was bored and wanted to get it done

Far Cry 4 cant run on 2 core CPUs with 2 threads as it required 2 core with 4 threads Core i3 CPU or quad core CPUs as minimum. Will not work with Celeron and Pentium.

AMD are screwed with lots of budget desktop, laptop and tablet APUs run on 2 core with 2 threads

FC4 is annoying me a bit now... First day I played it I had no issues. Second day it started stuttering so I used the fixes posted earlier in this thread, stuttering disappeared. Played it again last night and the stuttering came back (although not quite as bad).

Might have to try the gamerprofile settings posted above

It's the same for the majority of people, there's are quite a few threads about it on Ubisofts forums but Ubisoft will not comment on it because they know they release a game that should have still been in development for another few months to iron out the bugs.

The game itself I really like but it's just the stuttering that's killing it for me

Not really a rip off of there own game. Yeah, they never really change much but most sequels are the same in that regard. Doesn't make FC4 an awful game though. I'm enjoying it but then again, FC3 was one of my favourite games

Very true, It pretty much is FC3 with a new skin on it and tweaked graphics but to me that's not a bad thing as apart from the stutters which will get fixed eventually it's a damn good game, Same with the Assassins Creed series, I love them and they could bring 1 out a year IF the performance was up to scratch.

Yeah, that's why I recently went single card. Every single new release took an age (if at all) to support crossfire.

Yes agree about the stuttering. Awful when running and driving

But also the gun control and aiming is dodgy as hell. The textures are awful. How can you say its a good game?

And it is a blatant copy of FC3 including the missions and I imagine - but haven't heard - there will be a choice at the end. For those that competed FC3 you know what I mean

I made the same switch from SLI to a 970 for the same reason. Although I have to say, recent games don't seem to be optimised for a single card either. :rolleyes:
