With SLI you aren't seeing stuttering??? Really? I call BS :(

I can't seem to find a decent playable experience for this game. Parked in favour of SOM
 
Cant launch the game at all. Was working fine last week, went away for weekend, got back and it just hangs as it starts to launch?
 
Quite enjoying this game I think it looks quite stunning. Im not having any issues others are though. No stuttering my end runs smoothe. Must say i dont think ive died as many times as i have in this game before lol
 
This game is just too similar to Far Cry 3, yeah there is a few new things added in but nothing different enough so far to really get me into it....

Boom. Stuttering gone, and i mean it. It's like getting a G SYNC monitor. Not a single hiccup. Not when driving, Not when walking in a town, not when fighting. And if it does slow down it's because my fps is genuinely going down because of the intensity of the scene. Fps average is 67 but rarely if ever does it drop lower than 55. This fixed the weird mouse stutter too. It's a whole new game now. None of the CPU cores EVER reach 100% anymore
BIG UPDATE
IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS IN ADDITION TO IT:
Open the GamerProfile.xml file with Notepad Find GPUMaxBufferedFrames="0" and change to GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1"
and also DisableLoadingMip0 ="1". You don't have to do this to eliminate the stuttering but it wont eliminate completely, there will be slight micro stutter to the well trained eye. try it.

Thanks so much for this. It was a laggy mess on any quality setting before, but now plays like a dream!
 
Stupid question maybe, but on some of the early previews there was mention that you could cut the brakes on a jeep / jam the pedal down and load it up with C4 and roll it down a hill.

Did this make it into game, or is the only way to achieve the same effect to bail out of a moving vehicle?
 
Just crouch down to either the front or rear of a car and you should get a message saying "hold E to release brakes" and away it goes, not found a use for it though yet lol.
 
This game on Co-op is without a doubt the most fun I have had in a game in a very long time. Partners can grapple to the bottom of the mini chopper then bail off and wing suit into a base. Or Fire base cars when you both have grenade launchers (Count as a side arm so can be fired from moving cars).

Having mounted elephant battles is just hilarious or throwing bait at each other when you aren't paying attention. Crazy fun
 
I've hardly done any of the actual story as I've consentrated on opening up the map radio towers & getting my skins for ammo bags etc.
Those girocopters can only be found in certain areas but as yet I've not spawned at a base & found one waiting & I've had to go off looking for one as I know where they will be found, I also discovered you can fly across the lower map to anywhere else except Banapur, if you go there the buzzer starts acting up & refuses to land (unless that's a bug). Elephants in battle get killed too easily, it needs Elephant armour :p
 
Loving this game :)

Such a joy playing this and although i aint running at 60fps on ultra. am getting a solid 30-45fps at 2560x1600 res on my 30inch monitor.

Would buying another 780gtx get me to 60fps at ultra or is SLI broken on this game?

I get well over 60fps on my 780SLI / 4770K rig on ultra @ 1200p, but you should know untill the stuttering is fixed, even 980's stutter - just ask total biscuit! :eek:
 
It stutters only if borderless is enabled. In normal Fullscreen mode there is no stutter whatsoever. I have a 980 and am playing at 3440x1440.

I did say I get occasional stuttering, yes it's annoying but it's not frequent enough to ruin the game. The stuttering mainly happens when driving, I don't get any stuttering when on foot.

Hopefully future updates will improve it more.
