Far Cry 4 due this November

So earlier it downloaded a patch. Went up to 1.4

Few hours later it downloaded another patch. Back to 1.3

Now it's downloading another patch...

Seriously? lol

Has anyone tried the below?

Will give it a go tonight and see if it fixes the stupid Mouse Acceleration, really want to play this but the aiming is irritating :(

I sorted this in game by switching acceleration off then doing something else with the setting directly below that but I cannot remember what it was exactly. When I fire up the game later I will see if I can figure what I did and post back.

I noticed if I use the Nvidia setting I get black shadows when walking, and when flying it looks like a big black box underneath.

But if I use custom settings and max everything out, even manually choosing the Nvidia settings myself, the game looks identical as it should but the black shadows are gone completely.

I can repeat this bug every time.

Other than that which is easily fixed, the only bugs I have are flickering landscape textures in the north, south is fine, and a tiny bit of stutter only when driving/flying.

I have put 26hrs into the game already, 56% complete and only 1 crash to the desktop during that time.

The black shadows are SLI specific issues , disable one card and poof its normal again.

Its visible in this video I made when I ran towards the houses
SLI GTX970s

v1.4 update

* Fixed the "black screen" issue PC players were experiencing when certain USB peripherals were plugged in.
* Fixed the "grey screen" issue some PC players were may have encountered after the Outpost Master Mission.

Is this working properly yet? Or at least on AMD cards? Do the patches fix most of the major problems?

I would love to get it but I'm not buying any more broken games. I just can't buy games at launch anymore as they don't seem to be quite ready.

I'll admit I don't know anything about how a game engine is programmed but when a big percentage of people want to play this game with a controller or have other peripherals plugged in does this make a game crash?

Pish poor programming would be my guess?
