Patch worked a treat for me now - now running on ultra and smooth.
Whats ur system specs?
This unfortunately still runs terrible on my system with Xfire 7970s and 8350 at 4.7ghz...
Think I'm running out of vram as I game at 2560x1600.

Game still runs like crap for me with the latest patch.
whilst this patch seems to have helped a lot , many still have problems it seems.
I think this game has the worst saving system I have ever used. Pretty much the only place you can save safely is inside one of the safe houses. Anywhere else and the next time you load you will be in a different place, and stuff you had done will have been undone.
You know you can easily get rid of the intro movies?
Still works for me with latest patchPlease do share how to do this. -skipintro has been disabled by the latest Uplay update.

Make a shortcut on your desktop to Farcry exe, click properties & then add -skipintro on the end, should look like this:-
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\FarCry 4\bin\FarCry4.exe" -skipintro
If they issue a new patch then you have to make a new shortcut & add skipintro
Thanks Usher, but this is what no longer works for me, and not due to the 1.5.0 patch. There was a uplay client patch (4.9 IIRC) prior to the game patch, and now even with -skipintro set the shortcut takes me to the game's page on Uplay where I have to manually click play in order to launch the game. I've created a new shortcut, but it still makes no difference.
Prior to the uplay client update, it was working fine.
Has anyone considered making a formal complaint to Ubisoft?
I am not able to play for more than 20mins at a time before I either run out of memory or the game simply closes with no prompts. It is pathetic. The stuttering and the other issues I can kind of cope with but the infernal crashing is a disgrace.
Apparently Mickey Mouse wears an Ubisoft watch.
