Happy to play it on Medium. Really enjoyed FC3 so hopefully will enjoy this one too.
Just opened uPlay for a 2nd FC4 session of the day and I've been prompted to install a 1.3GB patch. Appears to be patch 1.6.0 but can't find a changelog. Just a thread about it breaking someone's game.

I really want this game, but I'm awaiting the masses to confirm it actually now works!
That wasn't there when I posted the thread otherwise I would have added that. I just wanted to show some proof of a new patch being out.Look down the thread you posted:
Added hotkey for toggling the HUD on/off (F11)
Fixed an issue when the game loaded incorrect save from Uplay Cloud
Fixed an issue with performance drop for Crossfire Multi-GPU
Fixed an issue with broken shadows in the northern region
Fixed various Controls issues
Fixed various Graphic issues
Fixed various IGE issues
Fixed various UI issues
Fixed various Uplay/Steam issues
Memory usage reduced
Crashes for me pretty much every single time I play. Had been playing for about an hour when my PC just blanked. Screens went black and even a double restart wouldn't fix it. I had to turn PC off and back on again to get anything on the screens again!not crashed once
Getting the new patch now. Hope it fixes stuff.
Shadows, crashes, big lags when looking upwards...
I'm uploading a 1.6 Patch video at the moment. On my rig, even using "low" settings which I showcase in the video I still get massive FPS drops.
It can go from 90 FPS to 30 FPS in a split second.
Not impressed at all.
Still getting crashes on the new 1.6.0 patch. They seem to happen more just when I'm about to start a mission. I then have to turn PC off rather than restart to get back to Windows.Getting the new patch now. Hope it fixes stuff.

What app are you using to measure the RAM FC4 is taking up?I'm uploading a 1.6 Patch video at the moment. On my rig, even using "low" settings which I showcase in the video I still get massive FPS drops.

More and more reason for me to get 16GB with my new PC then. From reading around the internet it seems only people with 8Gb or less are having low memory crashes. I've monitored usage and seen total committed memory peaking at over 8Gb when playing for a few hours.
