This is what I get. Thanks Usher, but this is what no longer works for me, and not due to the 1.5.0 patch. There was a uplay client patch (4.9 IIRC) prior to the game patch, and now even with -skipintro set the shortcut takes me to the game's page on Uplay where I have to manually click play in order to launch the game. I've created a new shortcut, but it still makes no difference.
That didn't work either.Also try skipintro 1
To save me looking through 41 pages, has it been discussed which GPU is required to get 40/50/60fps on max settings at 1080P? I have a 4790k and 16gb 2133mhz ram if that makes a difference.
FC4 will be worth another try in 4 months time
Max X how right you are. I have uninstalled now. I cannot take it anymore.
[I have yet to update my sig but I have a GALAX 970OC now]
Getting this off someone for Christmas. Loved 3 and it ran alright on my current rig, is there much of a jump in graphics, will it run ok on this spec.
- Intel Core i5 2500k 3.30GHz @ 4.40GHz
- Asus GeForce GTX 560 1024MB GDDR5
- Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB(4x2GB) DDR3
I don't see much difference myself. There is tessellation of course. I can't see the game being that good with a 560. However you may think medium settings is fine.
Had three crashes so far tonight. Now I have had enough. I was sent an email the other day from Ubisoft asking for my feedback and thoughts on FC5. There wasn't a box for "for ****s sake try to make FC4 work for more than 15mins first".
I have played this 7-8 hours straight and never experienced a crash only issue is that I get the black shadow issue.. Solved by setting up an nvidia profile disAbling sli
That isn't solving it, that is wasting £450 of GTX980 .
FC4 crashed for me today, total PC freeze up and had to shutdown.
