Out of the 3,4,5 I Enjoyed 4 the most personally, then 3 then 5.

The weapons roster of 4 is what sold it for me, the shooting mechanics felt more meaty and being able to fly around the map was great. Vaas was clearly the best baddy in the franchise but the mountains and snow peaks of 4 just appealed to me for some reason.

5 was ok but too much of it was forgetful and the DLC someone deserves to be sacked for because it was an abomination.

But we all the best Farcry is Blood Dragon and we need a sequel...

I think 5 suffered from them wanting it to be more 'open'. Which I liked gameplay wise until when they wanted to focus you somewhere and their only solution was for you character to just fall over and awaken for the story to progress.
Despite me enjoying the series so far, 6 needs to be a bit more different than the others for me to get it. I'm not sure how many climbing radio masts and clearing outposts I want to do anymore.

FC3 was my favourite because it was such a departure from the original and improved upon the systems and storyline in the 2nd. Every other one after just feels like a rehash of the previous and follows the typical Ubisoft formula.

I liked FC3 but 4 was the best for me, it introduced a lot more animals such as Crocodiles, Leopards etc, riding a trumpeting Elephant and charging at a car full of enemies and flipping it over into the river was epic. Also the appearance of the buzzer and launching grenades into enemy camps from up above was handy

Few leaks from last night: https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/nmg4vj/first_far_cry_6_gameplay/ The Mirror link is now down, I did watch it last night but it was in Polish so I had no idea what was said.

Don't know how long this will stay up:

This was the one on the Mirror link, now in 1080p

Highlights were a woman walking up a mountain showing the scenery, lots of islands like Far Cry 3, but a more dark approach.

A old beaten tractor driving through a small village, petting an alligator with a gold tooth and feeding it meat.

A guy with a rocket launcher/missile launcher backup firing them upon armored vehicles.

Looking at the gameplay, graphically there is no progress but I am liking almost everything else - the setting, the talking protagonist, the gunplay, the ability to use a cute dog to distract enemies.

Is this the first time they have cast a proper actor as the villian ? Think it is havent all the others been more fictitious and not based on anyone real as in looks or do they base the character on the voice actor normally ?
Giancarlo Esposito had been in a couple of good Sci Fi/Fantasy series he was good in The Mandalorian as Moff Gideon. He was in Breaking Bad too amongs others.

Far Cry 3 came out in 2012

'Nacho' wasn't actually in breaking bad, which ended in 2013, and Better Call Saul didn't come out until 2015.

So Vaas wasn't really played by a "proper actor", in the sense that Machael Mando wasn't famous then. Though it was a good performance.
