Farming Simulator 19 - Just Popped Up On Steam!

So, it's available for pre-order now! I don't know how many here played the others, but I love Farming Simulator 17 and so does my five year old boy. It's such a casual and relaxing game, but with the mods available you can turn it into something totally different if you choose.

It's set for release on the 20th November and is £29.99 on pre-order, which is very reasonable for the depth the game offers. It may not be for everyone, but if you've never played it before and want a relaxing game to play that allows you to just switch off and have fun driving heavy machinery around a farm, I'd highly recommend the franchise. It has also given me a huge appreciation for just how in-depth and hard farming would actually be in real life.

Looking forward to this - finally John Deere officially included.

Will be day 1 purchase for me (and my 8 year old!) although will be getting the PS4 version, as it's perfect game to play on the big screen, whilst chilling out with a pint or two

Excellent,

Due to the competitive multiplayer (they tweeted the other day) I was looking for something from them to say that modding would not be affected and it sort of says it right there...

Hopefully better that 17 which I did not feel was anything new over 15 but with worse default maps. However looks like it might be an improvement.

Will not be pre ordering this time though.

Have you ever tried ETS multiplayer? I haven't personally, but I heard it's a complete ****-show with people driving like lunatics

A decent private server though could be fun

i always thought farming sim was "which implement/tractor combo when flipped upside down catapults you the furthest...."

It's called pre-ordering? Was there anything else you'd like to contribute to the thread, or did you just come in to make that one useless comment?

On a separate note, I might actually consider pre-ordering this time around because at £29.99, if the game is anything like 17, it'll be well worth the money. Farming Simulator 17 was a very well-polished title and the mods you can download really expand the playability of the game. With Steam refunds in place as well, I don't see it being much of a risk but I do think that it might jump up in price as time goes on.

It's a great price for what you can and can do. Most new games ask you couhgh up 60 quid which IMO is outrageous.
