Let's be honest they're just modern day 80s action films. Over the top but do the job they're supposed to.
 
Final trailer looks good.. Didnt realise Jack Reacher was in it...

On another note.. Have they decided not to do a 2 parter for the last movie then? There has been no mention lately of this being Part 1? :confused:

I know critics reviews of these movies don't even matter, but I thought Rotten Tomatoes summary was spot on:

As irredeemably silly as it is satisfyingly self-aware, Fast X should rev the engines of longtime fans while leaving many newcomers in neutral.

I think everyone is aware of what these movies are like by now. Still a guilty pleasure of mine. Brain off, silly fun. It's amazing that different people like different things, isn't it?

well just got back from seeing this and I though it was very good. going to add piece to the spoilers box, but it doesn't really spoil the movie.

there is a knight rider quote in this, for anyone who watch the classic show will instantly recognize it
 
Yeah came back from watching this and being far fetch was expected so didnt have a problem with that. Quite a few good surprises but overall enjoyed it. Better than 9 because that was too much :D.

Did enjoy that line....Wonder if we get a cameo in the next one.

Anyways....for a fan..its exactly what you expect it to be and enough twists to keep things interesting.

I enjoy some of the films others not so much.

But fair dues.

They made it to 10.

obviously giving the audience something they want for them to keep coming back.
 
Saw it for the second time yesterday. I surprised myself in that I liked it just as much. Momoa is excellent, just the spark they needed - and finally someone not talking themselves too seriously.

The action scenes are really well done, controversially I’d argue that some of the fights (particularly Theron/MR) are better than John Wick 4 (sue me..) and especially because they knew their place and didn’t go on for hours and hours.

I think a lot of people would be pleasantly surprised at this one.
