FAST X

Saw it for the second time yesterday. I surprised myself in that I liked it just as much. Momoa is excellent, just the spark they needed - and finally someone not talking themselves too seriously.

The action scenes are really well done, controversially I’d argue that some of the fights (particularly Theron/MR) are better than John Wick 4 (sue me..) and especially because they knew their place and didn’t go on for hours and hours.

I think a lot of people would be pleasantly surprised at this one.
against my better judgement I might go to the cinema if their is a certain cameo in the end credits. Can you confirm with a simple yes no? If you read my other posts u know what I mean but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone!

You watched it on Thursday and Friday?

Really good, best one since 7 and that end credit scene.......
Actually? as all the reviews have it average at best, with some saying its the worst F&F movie by far.
I will watch it, but the reviews are making me wait for a digital release rather than a 'must see in the cinema' moment.

Nah this defo not the worst, far from it imo. Its the norm that comes with all F&F movies. If one doesnt like F&F formula in general then its pretty certain they dont like these cheesy, fun, action, far fetched brain switch off flicks. As @GlitterBalls mentioned its a guilty pleasure. I enjoyed it :)

F&F 9 for me pushed the boat out a little too far. :D

Over the last few weeks watched all the films, had only seen 1 and 3 before.

You really need to turn your brain off. Fast X is better than 9 which I would say was the worst.

I’d give Fast X about 6.5/10 even fresh I was thinking “who are these groups of people and am I supposed to know them”

I saw this the other night, and was glad I caught it in the cinema. There's no way I could face one of these at home, but in the cinema it's quite nice to just turn the brain off and enjoy.
You (should) know exactly what you're going in to, when it's a Fast and Furious movie. It will make no sense, it will be rubbish, it will be enjoyable. :D
