Well ive always believed them to be nicknamed that, anyone renault orientated will know a "valver" as a mk1 clio 16v, i know you can apply the same thing to any make of car, but the clio 16v have always been called valvers.

No doubt cos it was the only mk1 clio apart from the williams that had a 16v engine.

Makes sence. Does that mean you hate it when you hear people talking of a Corsa valver? Heard it a fair few times.

I've been driving doing 138mph GPS in a 2l Focus.

I've been passenger doing 144mph indicated in a 200sx.

Can't believe some of you have been 170mph+, that's insane.
