Favourite Red Dwarf scene?

Cba to search youtube for it,

but season 7 1st episode (I THINK).

Anyway kryton's expression when he goes (something along the lines of) "was assassinated [jfk] from a sniper in the Texas Book Depository" when he turns around and sees the boxes with "Texas Book Depository" plastered all over them is absolute priceless.

Or

The whole "You want brown source" *head explodes* scene, also a classic.

oh way to many to mention.

There really are so many totally awesome moment in Red Dwarf that I don't think I could pick a favourite!

Is it wrong that I know every word to every clip posted in this thread? :p

If so the episode is back to reality (episode 6), series 5

yeah, its that episode, i don't thinks its in there though.

*uses this as excuse to slack of work and watch red dwarf*

Will report back in 30 mins

Series 9 was rejected by the BBC....

With good reason, given that series 8 was an absolute abomination and complete utter *****. For me, Red Dwarf got steadily better until it peaked with series 5 and 6 then went downhill after that.

The episode where Lister is trying to teach Kryten to break his programming. Near the end Rimmer has got Kryten painting a picture of him in his uniform, but Kryten is actually painting a picture of him sat on the toilet, then throws that bowl of soup on Rimmers bed, then gets on Listers bike and rides off!

The one where kryton takes his hand off and sticks one of his eyes onto the fingers & sends it back to the spacebug for the crew to find him, but cat thinks its a tarantula.
can't remember the episode, but had me in stiches.

Terrorform. Series 5 i think

Favourite Red Dwarf Quote/Scene.

Been a big fan of red dwarf since i was a child, mainly the older episodes though because it went down hill a bit in the end. Definately had some brilliant humour.

When it comes to a quote...

For me its gotta be...

"Busy, Dave?"
"Well, yeah. I am, actually."
"Oh, then you won't want to know about the two super-light-speed fighters that are tracking us."
"What?!"
"I'll leave you to your bubble blowing, mate."
"No, Hol, come on, come on."
"They're from Earth."
"Three million years away?"
"They're from the NorWEB federation."
"What's that?"
"The North Western Electricity Board. They want you, Dave."
"Me? Why? What for?"
"For your crimes against humanity."
"You what!"
"It seems when you left Earth three million years ago, you left two half-eaten German sausages on a plate in your kitchen."
"Did I?"
"You know what happens to sausages left unattended for three million years?"
"Yeah. They go all mouldy."
"Your sausages, Dave, now cover seven-eighths of the Earth's surface. Also you left seventeen pounds, fifty pence in a bank account. Thanks to compound interest you now own ninety-eight percent of all the world's wealth, but since you've hoarded it for three million years nobody's got any money except for you and NorWEB."
"Why NorWEB? "
"You left a light on in the bathroom. I've got a final demand here for one hundred and eighty billion pounds."
"A hundred and eighty billion pounds! You're kidding!"
"April fool."
"But it's not April."
"Yeah, I know, but I could hardly wait six months with a red-hot jape like that under my belt."

:D:D

Rimmer: "Step up to red alert!"
Kryten: "Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb."

Absolutely brilliant :D

And then the classic:

CAT: So, what is it?
KRYTEN: I've never seen one before, no one has, but I'm guessing it's a white hole.
RIMMER: A white hole?
KRYTEN: Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. A black hole sucks time and matter out of the universe, a white hole returns it.
LISTER: So, that thing's spewing time back into the universe?
KRYTEN: Precisely. That's why we're experiencing these curious time phenomena on board.
