US: Fear the Walking Dead

My thought is that the person signalling help was probably trapped in the house as there was a horde stopping them get out. Maybe the Army went in to save them and killed to horde which is why we saw gunfire, and maybe the show is trying to give us a sense of paranoia that the Army is bad.

Knowing that the show needs to add drama... I am guessing that the Army went in and executed everything for ease.

Yes, but where are they? Not one, that we've seen, has wandered up to the fence? If there are that many out there... surely we should be seeing them at the fence?

Maybe, but wouldn't that be just a copycat of an episode of TWD? which is years after the breakout ending on the last season. Remember this is only 9 days after the breakout, hoping we'd see more control, people and government order.

I knew I recognised the hot Daughter from somewhere.

yeah that exactly what the shows doing. Making you double guess and make assumptions which will then misdirect. You dont know really know the specifics so it could be anything from killing walkers or a survivors originally signalling for help which then turned.

One thing i was hoping for more is how the sickness spread throughout the city. Perhaps the show could show more the scale of people in LA rather than just talk about how only people in the safe zones were safe and everyone else was dead. It is one of the biggest city on the planet with something like 4 million people in city and 10+ million in the nearby region. Who knows maybe they are saving that for the finale. Cant wait :D

Not a bad ep this week. Wonder if the crowd in the arena are going to play a part in the finale or if that's just misdirection.

Bound to, there isn't enough zombies about at the minute to give a sense of the apocalypse otherwise.

Also, that guy went to sudden extreme measures on the captured soldier man :O

I think the general idea given that the evac plan is already in motion is that they are fighting a losing containment battle the further out they go and its just not portrayed very well i.e. taking losses at the library, etc. the tide is turning against them. (They mentioned briefly the point I'd made earlier that early on a lot of people confined themselves to their homes, etc. with the infected which then resulted in the obvious and its now starting to slowly spill out).

When I first heard that guys voice I thought it was Morgan Freeman haha. This weeks episode was the best so far, was really thrilling. Can't wait for next week.

^^ Some of the characters are showing a bit more potential. I wasn't really a fan of the direction with the army and quarantine zone(s) but I guess it does make sense and actually worked quite well aslong as they don't beleaguer it which they don't seem to be.

yeah. The voice reminded of Morgan or the old spice man from the advert lol :D

The Arena is going to be a big part in the finale i reckon. The question is what will the Dad do to the doors? He will go mental when he finds his wife. What will happen to the survivors exactly when operation cobolt commences.

Another big question is where did they take Doug ? Is he dead or experimented on?

Cant Wait :D

All this build up and only one episode left!! Grrr

At least we got TWD Season 6 coming up and Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 :-D

Maybe so. If it is, it'll lose a little respect from me. The horde are all waiting in town, planning an attack?

It's deserted out there. Wassaname has even been out there, didn't see one?

They are in the suburbs so it would take a few days for the walkers from the urban centre to reach them. Plus, the army is mopping the area up. I think the current situation seems fairly plausible.

I must admit I was expecting this series to be more about how the virus started , maybe answer some questions from the main series. It's a little harder to get into some of the characters.

A 30 minute special that's being broken down so its 1 minute here and there. Kinda hard to be hyped for something like that.

Its 16 one minute episodes!

"Flight 462" will be the title of the 16-part in-flight zombie drama. The series will begin October 4, the night of Fear The Walking Dead's finale, and air as promos with each subsequent episode of The Walking Dead, which begins its sixth season the following week. Each episode will be less than a minute long.

I'll wait and hope you can watch it in one go, seems kinda pointless to bother breaking it down into <1 min episodes to me...
