They are in the suburbs so it would take a few days for the walkers from the urban centre to reach them. Plus, the army is mopping the area up. I think the current situation seems fairly plausible.

with a population of around 19 million in greater LA, I would have thought things would be a LOT busier than they have been but there again, the main TWD series is guilty of that too.

That army squad is about one punch away from a mutiny and now it appears their leader is dead, so I doubt the evac would be smooth. Also if the army's solution is to kill the people they can't protect why do they bother having a containment facility and hospital![]()
