Well f1 is flooded with rubbish pay to drive, so no loss there.
And the pointy end of the grid, wouldn't go to a lower series.

When are tickets going to go on sale, really want to go to London. Be interesting if they make it affordable.
2015 is going to be the proper start though, with several teams already saying they'll have their own cars designed for the second series.

They are using the old A1 cars if I remember rightly, I can't see it lasting long unfortunately but you never know, fingers crossed

FA1 is an interesting concept. Both bikes, single seaters and stock cars all in the same race event.

The allowing of drivers to be a different nationality to the team they are racing for solves one of the major issues with A1 in that mist countries didn't have a top flight driver.

But isn't this the 3rd series to buy the old A1 GP cars and try and work?

Not heard of that cheers. Yeah it's been bought out a few times and think the new Ferrari chassis only got used one season.

Good good. Some main stream coverage, and they do a great job with BTCC.

The issue with many series is poor TV coverage. Hopefully other countries get this on a mainstream channel too.

Yep 90min live program which will include highlights of the earlier practice and qualifying and then race build up, live race and post race.

It will also be on pay per TV, but itv4 haven't said who. But as itv4 is free, why would they do that as well? Unless its for non TV users and online streaming instead?

I read it as the highlights would be shared on pay TV

Formula E has agreed a deal with ITV4 that will ensure free-to-air live television coverage for all 10 rounds of its inaugural championship.

In addition to live coverage of races, a 90-minute programme will include highlights from practice and qualifying, pre-race build-up and post-race reaction.

ITV will also broadcast highlights of each event, the rights to which it will share with an as-yet unannounced pay-per-view UK TV channel.

Eurosport maybe? Unless there is a live broadcaster signed up for Europe too?

Either way it means nowt to us in the UK, we get ITV4 and pretty much everyone has that.
