I played my first game of FUT ever the other night. Really enjoyed it. My squad isn't great as you'd expect for a first game, had a chemistry of 48.

I had Ibrahimovic on loan, and scored a 40 yarder! Was awesome, think we were both a bit stunned given the amount of wasted efforts up until that point.

Definitely going to be playing this a lot more now.

I'm not keen on spending any of my own money on it though, so am I going to find it hard to put together an awesome team?

You've got 3 months until the new game's out and there's very little trading going on. Even the lower divs (5+) seem to be filled with blue and black cards as the only people left playing started early.

Saying that a cheap team played well can beat any other teams.

I absolutely love it, the midfield is unbelievable. Only downside to Meier is if someone leaves him behind he can't catch them, but side by side it's irrelevant due to his strength. His shooting and free kicks are other worldly, has 99 defending with his strength, and can head anything at set prices. Same for Dzeko. Hendo for some balance.

That's it, I'm officially done with FIFA.

Simple game against Crystal Palace on my career game on Pro difficulty, 27 shots to zero in my favour and instead of scoring I have somehow managed to hit the post or bar 7 times! (On a couple of occasions this was with an open goal gaping in front of me)

This game simply beggars belief - it's like EA literally had a meeting and figured out how to remove any and all fun from the experience!

Ha, with the whole of about 5 people who are still playing this game. EA really are a joke....
 
Does anyone have any recommendations for a team to build for around 250k on Xbox? I have a BPL squad and I had a Bundesliga and La Liga squad in the past but I've sold them off.

I just need another team so I can rotate between my main squad. I was thinking of just doing Serie A or something, but is there anything more interesting to try? Maybe a nation squad? Anyone got any suggestions?
