You're right, English football needs to change and people's attitudes do too. Jonathan Wilson preached adopting the German model years ago, I agreed then and I still do.
The statistic about coaches in this country compared to Italy, Spain, Germany et cetra, is staggering.
Well some decent passing and running it into their corner without panicking and losing the ball would be a start. Can't even do that.

But they didn't did they? He was the only player to make a good run and put the ball in the net. Welbeck didn't, Sterling didn't, Sturridge didn't, Lallana didn't, Barkley didn't and neither did Gerrard or Henderson.

We were a mess in defence and a mess in attack but you can't blame any one player because everyone sucked tonight.
As for Hodgson, the FA publically stated he would be in charge of England until 2016 back in May so we're stuck with him.

Not all, think it's quite funny that England have failed massively, can't support a team with Woy in charge I'm afraid.

That was really disappointing. Most other teams play with a great deal of purpose, whereas we were satisfied to play passy passy nicey nicey across the back four.
Thought Sterling, Wellbeck and Barkley were poor, but Gerrard was absolutely awful. I hate to say this, but the buck stops with Roy; they're his team and they play to his system. We're going to be awfully fortunate to get out of this group, and we certainly wouldn't deserve it if you make the second round.
