FIFA World Cup 2014 - Semi-finals [8th - 9th July] **spoilers**

If you're all so convinced that Ozil is crap, why do you think Low, who knows more about football than every one of us, keeps picking him?

It's because he plays in a way that many mere mortals can't understand. Only yesterday was Ronaldinho picking him out as one of the most magic players he's seen.

He's not the player who scores, he's not always the player who assists, but many times, without noticing it, he's the who creates the whole move.
 
I cannot get my head round Fred and his continual selection for Brazil. The guy is utterly and completely useless as a striker. I don't think I've seen him make a single run into a good position the whole world cup.

Don't mean ****. Scolari has won a World Cup and still keeps playing Fred does that mean just because he knows more about football than any of us he knows better?
 
I think Brazil could've had a chance if Ramirez was on, Maicon, Fred, Bernard and David benched. Hulk should've been upfront. With William, Oscar and maybe Ramirez or someone else but Ramirez should've sharted whether in midfield or in more attacking role.
 
Watched the Armstrong Lie last night.. wondering how many players dope? Remember reading some article where Murray was calling for better testing in sports where it's not particularly common. Bit of epo would help over 90 minutes surely!
 
Need Muller to bag a couple of goals in the final, to keep my top goalscorer bet in with a shout. I can't believe He only got the one against Brazil though :(
 
That game showed just how good Thiago Silva actually is. Without him in the team to hold them together the Brazil defence looked like they were playing schoolyard football. Silva and Neymar basically carried them to this point in the tournament. Chelsea fans have got to be happy to have gotten the £50m for David Luiz before this catastrophe.
 
Brasil were terrible. Germany were fantastic.

While Brasil clearly missed Neymar and Silva, that does not excuse the absolute shambolic performance from the rest of the team. Luiz could (and should) have been sent off.

Germany are looking very strong going in to the Final.

Absolutely fantastic World Cup :).
