FIFA World Cup 2018 - GROUP G [Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England - 18/23/24/28 June] **spoilers**

Yuck some horrible performances - I hope Vardy, Rose and Welbeck are never played again they looked really bad.

EDIT: To be fair Rose didn't play that bad as such just slowed things down when they didn't need to be and lacked any real creativity.

That result shows Belgium's reserves are better than England reserves.

Clearly the result Southgate wanted, but now we have to deal with Colombia. Think I'll put a bet on them...

Poor match, basically two teams resting key players and fielding weakened teams not really bothered about the outcome. Alexander Arnold was probably our most creative player whipping in crosses but Vardy and Rashford are footballers not target men.

Job done I guess but do we seriously have no better players than Delph and Wellbeck, possibly Jones too.

One area of concern would be the fact we have zero depth in the squad, how many of those players can come on and change the game if we're struggling against Colombia?

I mean yeah we can bring Welbeck on if we want to be a bit more solid at the back, but who's going to ping a pass, or get a goal?

Well, maybe it wasn’t the most exciting match but at least we didn’t get 90 minutes of play acting, diving, dodgy VAR decisions and other ill-mannered behavior that seems to be the norm for this World Cup so far.

Don't know why people are happy about playing Colombia instead of Japan. Colombia are a very decent side, and we now stand a lower chance of reaching the QFs.

We have to beat strong teams either way, but this side of the bracket has far less of them.

Shelvey might want to lay off being a massive racist and maybe he'd get that spot.

The "other" side of the draw is frightening. Argentina, Brazil, France, Portugal and Belgium in it!
