Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn

So how does one actually pick a server now? It appears not only are they all full in sense of current players on the, but they're actually full full? Every server says "This world is not accepting any more new characters, you may either wait for the restriction to be lifted, or you may try another World."
 
Duty Finder not working again for anyone else? Just seems to put me in the queue myself with no one ever joining now. Been instant the rest of the day (playing healer).
 
really impressed with the game, been rock solid for the last 2 days after they finally fixed everything and it's amazing. I've seen people say before how games can be really pretty but it never really sunk in. Well tonight i spent around 3 hours exploring all of la noscea, the upper parts especially are so incredibly beautiful.
 
To those having throttling problems with BT internet,

This will work if you do it correctly (don't mess up the TCP/UDP, and forward all ports)

Setting up a custom application/game profile on the router and forwarding the ports from that link has removed all throttling for me.

Only issue I still have is seeing other players stop every few seconds while they run, but I think thats a server issue

Cheers mate. Installing this 8GB patch so would be useful if I do come across lag issues once I'm in game.
 
Finally managed to get Marauder to 30 and Glad to 15 to unlock Warrior. On top of that I've got PGL to 15 and LNC to 20.

Really enjoying the levelling process so far, apart from the main story quests bouncing you around the map to talk to someone a bit too often for my liking.

Going to take a break from leveing my main class and start getting into the crafting/gathering stuff which so far I haven't touched.

no idea how people have got to like 30+ levels! i've just got to 15, I've had the time, just not been able to get on when I want too! have people just been logged in constantly and not logging out or something?

Some people got multiple classes to 20 during the last beta phase (2 days) so it's not surprising that people did another 30 levels in 3 days!
 
It didn't have pound-stretcher labels on it.

At 30 on Conjurer atm and just about to go back and get the Arcanist from 12 to 15. Got a free Unicorn mount at level 30.
