You'll get the same problems on the US servers remy. The EU and US ones are the same, they just titled some of them EU. The only ones at a separate data center are the JP ones.

Been trying to get on for over an hour now. Quite frustrating considering this was my only day off....

I have made it into a queue a few times, it just kicks me out after a few minutes. When the NA/EU servers don't show up I just exit the client and restart it and they reappear.

Started to get lost connection when loading for a bit now.

Likewise, I don't think I have ever been so frustrated before.

The lack of information from Square themselves on when will we likely see a fix of some sort is not helping either.

I think JP servers will be my new home, at the same level as my main char on the JP servers now, so little point going back. Different class/race though.

JP players are awesome.
In FFXI I used to play the japanese import and only a handful of english people played on the server.

Had some wonderful groups all the Japanese guys used to be dead selfless and wouldn't drop group as soon as they got what they needed like the americans did.

often they would get the item they wanted (usually something for a level limit quest) and then come back on there max level char to help speed up the killing for everyone else..


I had a group of max chars help me for 2 hours once after we already spent 3 hours getting the items everyone else needed. (I always used to lose the loot rolls )

only going to get worse when the official launch comes whoever had the bright idea of having the EU and NA servers at the same data centre should get sacked! especially considering the fiasco the game has been since it first tried to launch years ago

I think i'll just leave the client running over-night and hope there's not a maintenance. They really should have added an afk timer.
