I thinks he's bought Windows via retail stick - ready to go.You use a tool like Rufus to put a Windows install set on the USB stick from an ISO. Then add the motherboard drivers to a separate folder on the stick. When you install, I suggest you use a USB 2 port.
Is the motherboard in the case or outside?
Is the PSU attached?
You will need the keyboard attached to navigate the BIOS.
As this is your first build i think we'll get the motherboard in the Case to test - if you haven't done so already.
List everything you've got attached and done so far.
I like to add that if you don't have windows 10 it won't support usb 3.0 like windows 7 for example so yeah, you wouldn't be able to use your mouse and keyboard via usb if you install the os.
edit
It has to be windows 10 anyways for ryzen processor support.
he does
No all good hopefully.Good good no issues with that then like i did heh.
Right then, I'm back and focused now @Plec
Absolutely nothing done so far. Surrounded by everything ready to go.
I don't mind doing it out of the case if you describe exactly what is needed to be done please.
Is ok to do it with the mb on the box?
Yes - better a flat bit of cardboard so there's no danger that you knock it off. Especially when the GFX card is installed. Is ok to do it with the mb on the box?
