First PC Build - Warning, thread will have blunders.

i use "share direct link" when holding down on the image on mobile version

select text message

cut the text

use the Image Icon in the text editor above and paste the text

uploads image :D
 
Okay! So, here it is. The build that I will be buying to upgrade to. Just wanted to post again to check that all I am getting is correct for what I need.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

A couple of queries before I go ahead and buy these bits.
Does the Wraith Spire come with paste pre applied? Or will I need to buy that separately?
The board still says pre-order, shouldn't that be out now? When's the release date?
PSU of 550w still going to be enough?

Formula 550w PSU £15
Worth getting £4 thermal grizzly paste but the unit does come pre applied , but with aweful cheap stuff

Savings could allow for 8 Pack 3200hz kit. Which can overclock big .. as bios updates mature and amd micro codes. Should be hitting over 3600hz ram if you've got a good chip

Board I think sold out , and is on pre order

I'll look at buying that paste too.
Next months purchase may have to be a new monitor. Currently running on two Toshiba TVs at 1080p. Don't feel They're quite up to scratch anymore! Will have to post in the forum at a later date for that

Looks good, if you've got the pennies for the Focus unit, go for it due to longer warranty and being modular were formula isn't to save on expensive etc

Thing will be flying !

The Formula one mentioned being Modular in the description.. is it not then?
Also, do you know why the X470 is still showing as Pre-order? When does that come out?

Formula isn't modular .

They sold out, were on pre order before launch, some left avabile at launch but seems all sold out now, so they are all back on pre order. First come first serve
 
I'll do some looking around of my own tomorrow. Cheers for the help tonight, put next weekend in your diary as a weekend of excitement, thrill and peril
