Fishing - Anybody doing any ?

schoolies and flatties should be about on all states of the tide this time of year id have thought?
its a small tide tomorrow as well which would help.
weathers still good for tuesday, the threat of rain has gone so il be off to the marina bright n early, ive got a local mate who might be comming and possably Nick if he's still up for it

Check out the marina Facebook group. Hundreds of comments regarding the takeover of the marina by dem foreigners. Doesn't sound like a pleasant fish :(

Litter, drunks, discarded hooks, dope smoking, harassment and intimidation.

Make sure you take your largest priest.

ive not fished it for ~18 months but it allways had migrants camped out back then, never had or seen any problems but id be there midweek, i should imagen it gets rammed at the weekend when the weathers good

Think I'd rather fish Shoreham arm

lol, was just going to post that the only time ive ever had 'one of them' try giving me a hard time was on shoreham west arm :D
4-5 years ago i caught a mullet ~2-3lb and chucked it back, he wasnt impressed.. he wanted to have it if i didnt, but i just walked of and left him talking to himself ;)
EDIT: i seem to recall telling him that if he wanted one then to go and catch one himself

Hmm being 6'4 - should I wear my kickboxing t-shirt then? :)

Tents should be gone by 8am.. and BBQ aren't allowed according to the rules.. wardens should be putting that in practice but then all they can do is ask.

Still up for the trip here - will contact you later with details.

i have deleted Lukes post, not because of bad feedback but because of the manner of some of the posts . Yes the marina gets busy yes there are loads of non english that use it , I doubt anyone here would turn up on a busy sandy beach at 2 in the afternoon & complain that there wasnt any room because of effin foreigners. If you cant be fekked to get up b4 8am on a 5am high tide fish elsewere. The mob on the bend referred to sunday bought 5 beach casters (£200) £70+ bait more that £100 in rigs , Paid wall tickets & renewed twice without fuss & stayed 36 hours,(they spent near 500 in the marina) 4 were leaving to join the army(their own) they were well behaved occasionally boisterous , their tent was left up with permission as one member was suffering from heat stroke & was better than him stay in the sun it was the largish yellow/orange one., I get there are crowd issues sometime & thankyou John for posting some level of sanity yes it was bust . This group is to assist MARINA USERS of all types , dont like it go bitch on another group.
what does your money pay for ..
a controlled and clean(generally) venue , last w/e I shifted 8 skips of crap off the wall , personally
this weekend I cleaned 1.5 full rubbish bins on the east alone where some english were fishing smelt of **** & one had taken a **** on the bay
4 nappies left from white brit families 2 tampos broken beer bottle , bbq left overs Chinese food pizzas all from lazy ****s that leave rubbish or tie the bags to wires for gulls to rip appart , found 10 weights left behing still attached to hooks & bait that KILL gulls because of lazy anglers.
the money pays for repairs , crowd control we sort out fights , sun burn heat stroke rescue gulls. we even put up with moaning fuks that complain about immigrants & foreigners. Who the **** here thinks their money is better than the next persons ? hands up
the loos end of marina are a marina issue , talk to premier, west wall loos the wardens clean ....
sunday someone thought funny to **** in the corner rather than in the pan, yes it was cleaned quickly. how many here **** on the top level of the wall ? think carefully , I have seen a few & it stinks .....
cut the racial bull or find a new group , this group is to promote fishing pics from the area , if thats too much , find a new one ....
the wardens on the marina work fekin hard & long days in the sun putting up with all sorts & usually putting everyone grumbles right while shifting tons of crap often un-noticed
got an issue with the venue , put pen to paper write to Premier MARINA'S OR DAVE AT THE TACKLE BOX & stop being internet warriors here , its not the place & I wont tolerate it ...
now back to the CATCH REPORTS ..........

good stuff, got my ice packs frozen and coolbox at the ready.. lets hope we need it :)
now to sort out my mess of a tacklebox and tie a few rigs
EDIT: seems the Mackerel are still about, and Lobsters too.. https://twitter.com/thetackleboxbtn

Got a few mackerel rigs - made my own last time too. So a varied set of glitter, vibe, feathers eels etc.

Will try to minimise the gear!
