ive just remembered theres an eclipse on friday morning around 9am.. high tides at 11am,
i might go down the beach for it :o
EDIT: wind and cloud cover doesnt look too bad for Hayling Island..

Sea should be flat calm for you down that way.. going to be pretty breezy but from the north.. expect great long casting conditions :D

Gotta remember oversized hooks, bend them in then twist to the side.

isnt that the crystal style hook? you can buy them already in shape if im thinking of the same thing...
i normally use aberdeens up to a 2/0, any bigger then i look for a heavier gauge hook

I could list all the stuff it does but you'd sort of expect it really for that price :p

Got 50 lug and little frozen squid and nine pennel clip down rigs, I quite like them I'm not really into baiting up 3 hooks a cast, one big bait will do me :D

im sorting out my tackle box atm, need to tie a couple of rigs and put a shockleader onto one of my reels, then im ready to fish!
will have to see if i can get up early enough tomorrow morning to make it worth while,
il need to be out the door by 6am :o

Plaice/whiting/rockling, possable codling
i think Plaice/Codling are the main target species atm
