Even in only 6 days we have beaten our production for the last full week!
Apologies for the 6-day news, as I'm planning on having a few busy weekends throughout the summer I'm hoping nobody will mind if I move the news to Thursday nights for the foreseeable future

no you don't - I'm gonna start doing it on Thursday nights as a regular thing as I have a few active weekends planned for the summer and it'll save having to mess everyone around with 6/8 day weeks
it'll also hide the fact I don't have anything better to do with my friday nights :p

according to your EOC Stats you've not dumped anything for the last few days, fire up FahMon or open your log file to see if you're working on a beast or if there's anything wrong

plus it was only 6 days rather than a week and with large WUs on a single machine you're likely to have one good week and then one bad week as they can take several days even on a fast machine
 
lol only just seen this - thanks if anybody has given me some birthday WUs, it'll have helped with having to turn some machines *** while we were away with nobody to keep an eye on the house :o

I don't think I deserve any birthday WUs for that very reason though, it was nice to come back to a relatively cool house but it won't stay that way for long!!! :D


edit: A much better birthday pressie would be to catch up with Team Linux before TSC! Russia catches us - I shall be popping out to purchase more desk fans and then getting the Girlfriend's son's computer sorted out. Currently an XP2100 that was starting to throw EUEs all the time (hence has had folding killed off remotely by stanford) and will soon be a Barton 2500+ :cool:

edit2: I know that AC would be much better than fans but after how much money has been spent in the last month and this weekend that's just waaaay outta our budget - maybe next month though ;)

lol I kept reading that wondering how your machine could be freezing and that hot at the same time :p
curse me and my brain which takes everything literally :rolleyes: :D

mine at stock has reached 51C but no higher so far - hopefully that's the hottest it'll be getting
 
Berserker had a very nice pimping thread that he used a while ago - might be worth running it past him before going into GD as they never go down to well over there but coming from a Don might be received a bit better :confused:

i had considered leaving it till Friday to give the new folk a chance at getting a few days production under their belt - think I'll stick to Thursday though as that was the plan (I'll possibly be away again the weekend after next so otherwise it would be moved again then anyway :o)

I was just watching the match after having finished work early and torn round Tesco to do the weekly shop and get home in time - then I thought "hang on - it's time to do the news!!!" :eek:

I will save the stats now as it was between 5pm and 6pm on Thursday last week and I like to get a proper week in if I can help it

Not to worry though Matblack - I use the Stanford Stats for calculating individuals production, EOC is only used for the team overtaking figures. Your WUpenis is standing proud on the stanford stats at 625 currently so that's what will show in the news :)

I doubt I'll be able to get the news all sorted in half-time, will get as much done as possible so it's ready soon after though :cool:
