Damn google images is failing me! :p

Overtaken Dekez and chasing Happy

Thought I should mention, I won't go down without a fight! :D

Hmm. I can't match 30k a day at 4ghz, going to have to clock it higher. I think I'll have to get 4.3 stable and sort out my 8800gt to have a chance. Well played Happy.

Any details on the four card beastie?

OK how are you going to power these, i know what they are but are you insane in the brain :eek:

Probably :p

So on air, managed to get two cards crunching. No overclocks or anything just testing things out. Been folding for 24 hours or so without incident.

This is on XP32 which is the current OS and was the same for Seti and Folding before. So no need for dummy plugs.

Using GPU Core 1.31

With 4 GPU's its only using 256MB of main memory. I was worried it was going to eat RAM but it seems not to be the case at least on 32Bit XP

Going to try and get 3 running which is as many as I can fit on the mobo with the stock coolers on. So its a bit hot with GPU's reaching 70°C
Overall output is 29K-30KPPD

Then going to try some other OS's as I have bought some resistors to make dummy plugs.

Don't freak out about me using server OS's the machine will be doing dual service as a cruncher and backup storage device (ver low usage)

So in order of testing it will be:
XPx32 (current)
XPx64 (maybe if I have trouble with the server OS's)
W2K3 x64
W2K8 x64

Also I thought server as I may run the headless linux vm image for CPU crunching to max out the return :)

Nice Happy!! 3.8 months now until I'm knocking on your door :p

I've edged in front of JonJ again :D although only for a little while I think until his overclock is sorted.

My computer is currently finishing units then deleting the data and starting a new one, might take me a while to work this one out. Congratulations Dekez :)

I envy your lack of electricity bills Biffa. Any photos for us once it's under water?

Its not a lack per-se more of a business expense :)

Waiting for parts, due on Monday.
4 x GPU blocks, 120.3 Rad and some fittings

Why waste a folding rig with Windows?

Just popping my head in -- nice to see some competition for F@H going on!

I've nearly got my 1,000,000 points. I set myself a challenge to do it before the new year but I should do it easy. :)

Biffa he spouts the same rubbish on other forums too :p

Congrats on the nearly acquired tiffy theheyes :)

Hopefully this helps a bit:

Still got to get the blocks on and the watercooling setup. Looks like most ppl with similar setups are getting around 65-75K depending on WU's

But looking at the top 100 teams stats we are just holding onto spot 50 by PPD
