Nicely done loudbob. I have a suspicion you can make the dummy plugs yourself though, by taking a dvi to vga adapter and shorting two of the pins on the vga side with a piece of wire.

ha ha, I've been trying to stay out of that thread, very tempting but was planning to get watercooling sorted first due to noise, how loud are they on the stock coolers when folding? Also what are they like in terms of PPD per watt, as whatever card I get next will eventually be the basis of the next generation shed folder

Well I went from 4 9800GT's to 3 GTX260's to increase my PPD/Watt so its a bit extreme

About 6.5-8K PPD depending on WU, http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18003094

As for heat, I had three remember which is why I went watercooling because one always got hotter than the other two and cranked up the fan.

But with two you can keep the fans at 40% and with a bit of a gap between the cards they would be perfectly manageable I reckon.

Or you could buy the cards, two EK blocks and with a single 120 RAD and some tubing your away

Ironically its the same mobo I sold about 7 months ago luckily the price has dropped so much that it only cost me £9 more new than I sold it for second hand
