Food Hell

Oranges/orange flavour in savory food. Duck and orange sauce for example, the orange sauce is vile.

Jellied eels, despite how much I tried to like them, it's the jelly, the eel itself is fine.

Otherwise there isn't much else I wouldn't eat, and I'll try anything.

Any kind of fish for me although I am ok with prawns and actually really like scallops. Avocados - absolutely minging.
I like (well tolerate / eat because I should) all veggies but green juice smoothies make me what to vomit. Love tomatoes in all their forms and with anything except tomato juice. Rank. I should love a bloody mary as it hits all my flavour profiles and there is a bar near me does a hangover buster version with a chicken wing and a burger slider hanging off the side of the glass but I just cant stomach them.

Raw cheddar makes me vomit, but I love it melted. Weird.
I love tomatoes but not if they are cooked.

Think it might be from primary school when the teacher made me eat boiled tomatoes and I nearly chucked up.

I also used to hate cooked peas when I was a kid but my Gran used to grow them in the garden and I loved eating them straight out the pods, but when it was tea time I wouldn't touch the cooked ones.

@Raymond Lin - what’s not to love about a pickled egg?!

Lychees are horrid. So much wrong.

I like pickles…i love gherkins. I even like century eggs, i just don’t like pickled eggs.

And lychees are great! What’s wrong with it? There is another similar fruit with a yellow outer shell, more rounded, no idea of the name in English but literal translation is Dragon’s eye. I love that too.

Horse radish sauce, had some around sixty years ago, hated it, never had it since.

Strangely enough I hate vegetables - but I love a good quality horse radish sauce with the right dinner.

Vegetables generally physically revolt me in a way I don't think most people can understand - I don't even understand it - literally gag reflex stuff. Quite an uphill battle as a kid with people thinking I'm just being fussy.
