Liverpool won’t really win the league though because they won’t complete all the games and Man City still could have caught them.

Unfortunately it is the truth. Just because it is improbable doesn't mean it isn't possible. Even though the Liverpool side ranks as one of the best premier League teams up until that point and you have more chance of winning the lottery.

This is why finishing the league is really the only solution but how that is going to happen. God knows.
 
Man Utd obviously aren't guaranteed to be in Europe and iinm not even mathematically safe from relegation. I assume Adam will be supporting the idea that if the season isn't finished then Utd shouldn't be in Europe at all and should go into a Premier League B competition along with all other sides that aren't guaranteed to avoid relegation. It would obviously not be fair for them to stay in the proper PL as they're not 100% safe. Next season's CL will consist of Liverpool and Club Brugge as, iinm, they're the only two sides to have already qualified for the CL.

Liverpool are 25 points clear at the top, 22 if you assume City win their game in hand.

Utd are only 18 points clear of the relegation zone.

With 27 points up for grabs.

Utd are basically relegation fodder.

That is also fact and I am not disputing that. That's why finishing the season is the priority. Liverpool fans will get ribbed for eternity not winning a full season no matter how nice the rival fans are. I am just being honest.

Just to be clear, I couldn't give a **** about it. I'll happily sit here taking it as current PL, CL and World Champs, while you plan trips to Kazakhstan next season.

Had Liverpool only been a few points clear, heck even only 10 points clear, then your jokes might have meant more but nobody is taking them seriously now.

I dont think any of us gives a damm how this season ends. I am sure you all have more presing issues/things to thing about that the covid-19 has impacted on.

A pretty standard statement from the PL again today. The aim is still to complete the season when it's safe to do so and welcomed the support of the government. There's going to be another meeting next Friday, a day after a possible update on the lockdown, potentially with votes on how and when we restart.
