I will be very surprised if the games go ahead this weekend anyway and how long will this self isolate business go on? No doubt all the footballers are going to be tested weekly and as soon as one person gets it they will self isolate.

Interestly Germany has announced that they will suspend all games until early April but only after this current weekends fixtures :/

A few journo's are reporting that the most likely announcement from the PL will be a suspension to April with the hope of starting games again then. In reality they could delay a lot longer without too much issue - 9-10 games could be fit into 4 weeks with games being played every 3 days.

Players not training for the best part of a month then playing games every 3 days sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

All Uefa competitions, including Champions League and Europa League matches due to be played on 17 and 18 March, have been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The draws for the next rounds, set for 20 March, have also been postponed.

I guess that will be it for the season.

The EFL have already agreed to this and the PL should follow shortly. They will review again in April.

Earliest is the key word, ignore the date. They will not complete the games for the season before summer if at all.
