Football *Spoilers* 26/27/28 April

I totally agree with you, arsenal have had some terrible decision go against them as well (although obviously not against us with that goal ) But why isn't anything being done about it? We have the technology to fix these sort of **** ups. Its just pitiful really. Its not just because we lost, I can accept defeat, Man City out classed us, Boro were deserving of a draw if not a win.

I'm of the same opinion here too.

There have been some shocking decisions from Referees this season, perhaps more so than in recent years. I'm not just saying for us, but in the entire league.

There have been some horrible key decisions that have really turned games for lots of teams.

That said, today we just got it all wrong. The refereeing didn't help, we had a penalty shout denied ourselves but Chelsea performed extremely well.

The side we put out today was very disappointing both in performance and the selection of players itself.

I'd still rather be in our position than Chelsea's as far as the league goes but the momentum is so important, we're at that stage of pulling a performance out of nowhere now.

Think the referees have been extremely poor this season - but people only complain when their team gets hard done by. If it was a genuine thought in people's heads and they actually neutrally cared (rather than recklessly claiming stuff after their team is 'out of pocket') then maybe something would be done.

Benitez learnt to stop doing it because it cost Pool points, and now ferguson is making the same idiot decisions.
Benitez has only stopped resting players because he rested them earlier in the season. Having said that, he's rested all of our attacking players today but it doesn't matter to us now.

One thing that irritated me though, is why Ballack didn't get sent off. Andy Gray may say Wiley used his head, and tbh, I think it'd be a crap reason for being sent off, but the refs job is not to use his head, its to apply the laws of the game, and he should have been shown two yellow cards (not even counting his bear hug on Ronaldo). He'd have no one to blame but himself, why take off your shirt, and why run in to the crowd, knowing your already on a yellow?

That's a very interesting point, I missed the first half.

I hear he took the shirt off to show respect for Lampard?

That's all fine and dandy, but it's the rules of the game isn't it? Don't go into the crowd and don't take off your shirt? Or you get booked.

Hmm....

I reckon Chelsea and Man U will get 1 more point this season leaving the mighty Arsenal to win their last 3 and take the prem!
