I havent been to gym for 2 months...

Today...my power rack/bench/145kg olympic weights arrived...finally gonna have a home gym, cant WAIT to get back into it, I miss squats :(

Four months of cutting and I'm done. Started at 17st 1lb in the second week of April and finished today at 14st 13lbs. Time to get strong again

2st in 4 months is a great achievement, at that speed im guessing you limited the amount of muscle loss?

good work fella :]

Cheers all :)

Lost some muscle but most was fat from around my ass and other areas. Kept strength loss to an absolute minimum which was my main concern.

Edit: Forgot to mention, having a serious munchfest today. Eating all the things I've been keeping out of my diet in one big hit :D

Haha, always good to have a good refeed :D

Do any of you guys use proper lifting shoes? I'm beginning to find the cushioning wobble of my trainers a bit of a hinderance on squats and deads and have been offered some adidas Ironworks at cost price. Any thoughts, or do you reckon for anyone that's not olympic lifting these are overkill?

I've only started a couple of weeks ago, was just wondering how long I should be sticking to higher reps / set? I see the sticky recommends 3x8 , was recommended to start with 3x10 on everything
